I'm enjoying some excellent Swiss cheese... not the type with holes in it, but cheese brought from Switzerland by my friend Wolf who lives in Zurich.
Herr Dr. Professor Wolf is in New Orleans, where he gave a talk on bug related topics at a biology conference. He's staying over here for a few days; he last visited New Orleans in back in the 1980s. The last time I saw him was on
my 1993 trip to Europe.
He had emailed me asking if I wanted him to bring something. I suggested chocolate. He more than obliged by presenting me with several bars of excellent Swiss chocolates plus a bag of assorted miniatures. Double yay!! And if that weren't enough, a block each of Tilsiter, St. Paulin, and Luzerner Rahmkase.
Yum. Man, that's good Luzerner Rahmkase.
