Self interest

I always feel slightly perplexed by people who want to vote for politicians who wish to put them in prision.

I'd think not doing that would be the #2 rule of voting simple self interest, right after being sure not to vote for someone who wishes to kill you.

What was the old saying? "Nobody has ever gone broke over-estimating human stupidity," I think.

Particularly when the ignorance is willful.
