Hi from Houston.

Took 6 hours to go the first hundred miles.

Just heard someone who waited til Tues evening took 11 hours (driving all night) to get as far as Baton Rouge.

That's what happens when you evacuate a million people.

And on the positive side: Not only won't I get blown away here, I just had some good Tex-Mex for lunch. Mmmm.

It is sooo boring here at home. A 2pm curfew. Unless something changes drastically, all we're going to get is a little bit of wind.

Sounds like Andrew

Actually, I don't remember any sort of curfew (why 2PM???)
but when H. Andrew came by, it was pretty windy, the corner
of my house blew off and the squirrels loved it because they
could get inside the dropped ceiling in my kitchen to get
out of the wind but that was about all that happened.

I'm glad the squirrels left on their own!

Negan (our mayor) deceided that we should have a curfew. I am so mad at the national news about New Orleans and Ivan. In New Orleans all we got (as our TV new said) was irratating minor rain. The best story I heard all night was from a friend that works in Lafittes in Exite. Negan, after declairing the 2pm curfew, went to the Clover leaf in the quarter to lunch around 2:45pm. When he finished and went out, there was a bunch of Queens outside of Lafette's. They asked him, "Is it ok for us to stay outside until 6pm." He responed, "Do what ever you want."
