I am posting from my new (oooh, shiny!) Mac G4 Powerbook.

Your Cyber-Pal has somehow gotten along without a portable computer previously. This will make some things much easier.

This is also my very first piece of 21st century technology.

I am not posting this from home on my phone line... I am posting WIRELESSLY from the tea shop down the street!

My new gadget does other nifty things as well. It even plays "DVDs". "DVDs" are like one of those new-fangled "CD" music discs, except instead of playing an album worth of music, it plays a video! How cool and ultramodern is that!

21st century technololgy now joins the 19th century and 20th century devises in my home in making an ever better futuristic life!

Yes, your home is a true blend of 19th, 20th, and now 21st century technology.

Welcome to the next century, Froggy!

One of the reasons that pulled me in the Mac direction was the ability to remaster 78s, so I expect to be combining eras of technology.

See Hollie's comments below.

Hi Petal!

You guys should come over and join us at Rosie Lea's sometime. The bubble tea is great, the pastries are evil, and the wireless access is something I've yet to check out.

I've seen another G4, the inspiration for Froggy's new birthday present, and it rocks. Absolutely.

I'm still learing the details of doing things the Mac way, but I'm enjoying it.

Hollie, shall we invite Petal and John over for a splash after the bubble tea?

And what is your new band of flags icon?

Wondering simply, -- F.

Sure. We can invite them over for a splash.

The flags are signal flags that spell out "Coronado", the proposed Northern Lights spinoff which never saw cyberspace.

I've gotta come up with a new BSP icon. Maybe I'll use a yellow rose that I downloaded. Either that or strawberries, both of which are BSP symbols.
