As per the reccomendation of ernunnos, I uploaded Mozilla Firefox browser (free) last week.

My usual favorite browser for the past few years has been Opera.

Years ago I commented "all existing browsers are moderately sucky, each in their own special way".

Well, the better ones like Opera and Foxfire may have advanced to only "slightly sucky".

Playing with Foxfire for a week, I like it. For some things I still like Opera better, and have recently been happiest having both up on my screen at the same time, using each for various things.

For example Foxfire has a slight edge on Wikipedia, but Opera is better for LiveJournal.

My main problems with Foxfire is that scrolling just isn't as smooth as I like even with so called "smooth scrolling" preference, and for some reason jpgs still look a good deal worse than in any other browser (I still havn't found any way to rectify this).

I keep switching between Camino and Safari. And at work I use a combination of Firefox and ye olde Mozilla Seamonkey, for reasons too tedious to explain.
