Further demonstrating their dedication to the US economy, the Republican Party is outsourcing fund-raising jobs to India.

Can we outsource the administration of the Federal government too?

Switzerland would be my first choice, but wages might be uneconomically high there, so I'd settle for Costa Rica.

I'm waiting for some upper-management types to realise that now that they've shifted all the workers offshore, there's no need to have a middle-manager sitting around in an empty office. Once the middle-management jobs start getting sent to India, the really loud "SQUEAL LIKE A PIG!" sounds will start.

What will the final result of outsourcing be? Outsourcing CUSTOMERS?

I'd love to outsource administration of the federal government. I would prefer outsourcing it to Haiti. The people are so poor there that the need the work, and they also need the government.

It's gotta be better than the anarchy down there now.

I think Haiti's problem was too much outsourcing of their government to the USA.

The USA ran Haiti's government under military occupation from 1915 through 1934. Plenty of time to establish some law & order, democracy, and free markets, no? Let's hope it doesn't take that long in Iraq and Afghanistan. Of course, we have to send the marines back in every so often, just to make sure everything there remains in tip top shape...
