infrogmationI've been told that I'm being nominated by the Library of Congress to be on the New Orleans Jazz Commission.
An honor, I guess. But no money attached. I'm looking into what's involved.
For some reason I'm recalling an Alan Lomax story about the period when Lomax was interviewing Jelly Roll Morton for the LOC folk music collection. Morton took Lomax around to some clubs and bars, where he introduced Lomax to people as being "The Library of Congress".
Relevent US code stuff Apparently I'm the one under part b number 12.
