I will now give my coveted personal endorsement to a political candidate:

Fred Robertson for Governor of Louisiana

Fred Robertson is the only Louisiana Governor candidate who:

* Has a detailed plan for development of rapid transit in Southeastern Louisiana!
* Has let my band reherse at his home!
* Has given food and drink to me and my friends!
* Lives within walking distance of my house!
* Has a story about his throwing up into a party hat on his web site!
* Has repeatedly been mistaken for my brother, even though we are not actually related!

The choice is clear: I'm voting for Fred Robertson.

Louisiana could do a lot worse. It probably will.

I stopped by an event at his place after the Sycamos gig Saturday night, if that's the same event you're talking about. It looked like mostly the same group of friends of one of Fred's parties.
