infrogmationWith war clouds theatening and the economy sliding down the tubes, you can bet that our congresscritters are finding important things to spend their time and our money on... Like renaming "French" Fries.
It seems some members of France's bozo government disagree with certain policies of our bozo government. Therefore the USA's oldest and historically most loyal ally has been declared our most repulsive enemy since Kaiser Bill.
Or maybe even worse than him or that other guy with the funny moustache... 'cause you know the American soldiers who died Over There to stop the Huns? Well, now some of the congressians have a bill to take 'em back.
Yep, dig 'em up and ship 'em home at the taxpayer's expense-- hey, we may be running the worst budget deficit in our history, but it's worth the expense just to prove that USAians can be ruder than any Frenchman, right?
So when is the administration going to send back the Statue of Liberty? (Oh, wait, that might make too much symbolic sense...)
I stopped buying French wine back when the Frenchian gov't was nuking the South Pacific. It's going back on my grocery list now.

Moi, je marcherai au Vieux Carré aussi.
