Happy Carnival

The weekend before Mardi Gras is about to start. I'm playing in a parade tonight. Sunday a band I'm with has been hired to play for 3 & 1/2 hours for a private party on a parade route; I know the band doesn't know 3 & 1/2 hours worth of songs, so that's gonna be interesting.

It's Carnival Time!

Went out to see Hermes and Le Krewe d'Etat tonight. Saw the tripleheader last night: Babylon, Chaos and the postponed Muses. Since our good friend has canceled his party this year, I guess I'm gonna call it a Carnival.

*shrug* At least I got to see the Dictator.
