infrogmationI went to a doctor's office to get a thing from my neck - not my head, another thing that wasn't supposed to be on my neck, fortunately seems to have been just a benign cyst.
As the doctor was cutting it out, I heard her say to her assistant "now it comes out, just like a little baby" which seemed a bit surreal. I didn't have the presence of mind to ask what the Apgar score was until too late.
After removing the cyst, the doctor started using some electric cauterization device and my arm suddenly flew up and slapped the nurse. The doctor apologized saying she'd neglected to tell me not to touch the metal part of the table. Electric reflex demonstration, Mr. Wizard!
I came home, feeling pretty good after a nap. Ms. H. picked up the prescription pain pills for me, but fortunately I haven't needed them.
