COG at Lafayette Steampunk Fest

In case I have any readers in the Lafayette, Louisiana area who might be interested, COG, the Confabulation of Gentry, is to play at the Lafayette Steampunk Festival Saturday 10 Nov. As I understand it, there will free Steampunk events on and around the 100 block of Vine Street from 10am on. I believe our 5pm show is the last free admission event; at 7p there will be a cabaret show at the theater which is paid admission. (If they have a full schedule on line, I couldn't find it. Vine Street..trying to remember where in Lafayette that is. Downtown, off Jefferson, maybe? It's been a while since I was out that way. Downtown Lafayette went through a huge sprucing-up since I left U(S)L.

I really want to go back so I can see the "new" KRVS. I missed the last reunion. Oh, well. Maybe next time.

Yep, Vine is a 1 block street off Jefferson in what I guess is the old downtown. Cite des Artes Theater is on Vine. The only other part of the city I saw were a few blocks of Jefferson nearby, which is full of bars, restaurants, and shops.

I don't really know Lafayette; the last time I was there was when we stopped there in '05 after Rita on our way back from Texas.
