They said that power may well go out in parts of the city (powering the drainage pumps have priority over residential service in cases like this.) I'm in a solid raised house in one of the least flood prone parts of town. Got lots of wine & beer & water & eats, my friend Ms B is staying here, and I have wind up phonographs.
