Bush Job Approval at 25%, His Lowest Yet

What I want to know is what, exactly, 25% of us are approving of?


"only 55% of members of Bush's own party approve of him in the poll [...] 5% of Democrats approve of the way Bush is handling his job as president."

What percentage of health care professionals approve of the bubonic plague?

I sorta also would like to know what else BushCo could do to get that number lower, but fear that if it was known BushCo would go ahead and do it. Onward to zero!

I can sorta see that more easily-- maybe there are 5% who generally prefer Democrats, but feel so strongly about some single issue that they voted the other way. But still approving of the job Bush is doing, whatever ones political philosophy, seems to me cluelessness of a bafflingly monumental scale.

There will always be people who talk one way and vote another. My inlaws come to mind.

I'm actually glad that they've finally came out of the closet and revealed themselves as conservative. Not happy that they went to the right, but at least they're no longer hypocritical.

We'll be spending a whole week with them next week in Florida. I hope you don't see an explosion in your general eastern direction.

If you say one thing, and do another, then someone will agree with either what you're saying or what you're doing.

Thing is, I don't see how any conservatives could be approving of Bush either. Maybe I'm just naievely assuming that conservatives in the country still have a particular political philosophy other than voicing support for whatever the leading member of the Republican party is bumbling through at a given moment.
