Not really. You can technically impeach a president *after* he has left office. "Impeachment" just means the same thing as "indict", but with the restriction that a legislative body (Congress) acts as grand jury. It doesn't mean "remove from office": that's what happens if the impeachment results in a verdict of "guilty". If the defendant is no longer in office, he can still be stripped of his pension and possibly have other punishments as well.
