Television "news" show presenter Mika Brzezinski refused to read Par*s H*lton related stories, finally tearing up and setting fire to her script on air.

THANK YOU!!!! I don't watch MSNBC so the link to the BBC article was very helpful.. (I did however look up the video on youtube so that was pretty cool.. although setting fire to paper in an enclosed studio isn't something to do ..handy they had that shredder!! *grin*)

I wish CNN and the like would lay off the dumb stories.. Larry King could have interviewed someone actually important rather than waste an hour (I actually didn't watch it but that didn't stop them from showing clips from it during the later "news") interviewing this non-celebrity. bleh!

I keep saying that if the media would stop covering Lindsay Lohan and Paris Hilton and Britney Spears and so on, nobody would miss them and they could potentially have a shot at recovering from exhibitionism and insecurity and so on... let's declare a one-year moratorium on any coverage of them at all, really, seriously, I mean it.
