My cell phone serves a purpose. I leave the ringer off in the middle of meetings as not to be disturbed. That's what my voice mail is for. I don't want to have to be a slave to the phone, constantly at its beck and call.
I'm with you on cell phone usage in the car. SHUT UP AND DRIVE!
It is, however, good in emergencies and in a pinch. It's served me well in that department.
I'm on Cingular because my dad and I have a "Family Talk" plan and he's footing the bill.
