Never happen. In fact I expect to see editorializing in the fairly immediate future about how sturdy and self reliant Wisconsinites are, how they are good folks who help out their neighbors and pitch in together to clean up the mess, and, unlike us shiftless nigras here in NOLA, do not lie around waiting for 'the government' to do everything for them.

Kind of like those good folks in the SoCal fires.

Hagerman said he had applied for flood insurance a month earlier but didn't think he was covered. He said he hopes the government will offer some help.

This guy, on the other hand, is in for some Swiftboating. Hopefully, he's white, so they probably won't scuff him up too bad.

I remember the joke 20 years ago being that delegations from Wisconsin and Louisiana were trying to work out a deal where they'd run our government and we'd prepare their food.

I've argued that Vic Schiro is still a worse mayor than Nagin because of his support for the ACOE's MRGO Canal. Hard to top helping drown people 35 years after you leave office.
