Algerine Indians

I'm not 100% recovered from my bout with the Spanish Flu, but am feeling much better.

mshollie & I just went to see the Indians in Algiers.



The Indians are splendid, as usual.



And the kids being raised in the tradition are just so cute.

That's so cool. I like the kid all decked out. Boy I can't imagine how heavy these costumes must be.

Yeah, the Indians are hard core. I see some of them wearing head dresses it takes two assistants to help raise on to their head, and that's just a fragment of the outfit's weight. They parade around dancing, singing, and hollering in that. Today was a hot day just going around in street clothes.
