Wow, 4 months is a looong time for a broadcast station to be off the air. I noticed when I was in town yesterday that 106.7 KKND "The End" is still not back yet. I think their city of license was Port Sulphur, so no real surprise they are still dark. A couple of other changes noted on the FM band include the not so new change from "Cool 95.7" to "Bayou 95.7," and a flip to a gospel format on 104.1, which used to be a pretty happening CHR outlet. Overall, like just about everything else in New Orleans, I think the quality of radio has declined since the storm and floods.
