Iko Iko, Cher

While eating my monday red beans & rice I turned on the tv and caught an episode of "Las Vegas". One of the two intertwined plots was set in New Orleans-- the alternative reality New Orleans which exists somewhere in Hollywood, where the New Orleanians speak with Cajun accents.... There were a couple of short exterior shots that clearly were shot here, and other of some other city on a river that clearly wasn't.

If someone who didn't know much about New Orleans would watch the show, at the end of it they'd know even less.

Well anyway... Happy Mardi Gras from the Real New Orleans.

Unless it's a particularly good film I need to see on it's own merits, go ahead and tell me.

Well, you've heard about it on ARK. It's about a Russian band who goes to America, and travels across the country while slowly becoming a rock and roll band.

It's a Finnish film, but it's mostly in English.
