"As seen in..." The Sequel

Since I've been requested (including an "or else") to scan the picture mentioned in the previous entry:

The photo from The Times-Picayune. As can be seen, it's bisected by the page fold.
Froggy, Niji, Mikey B, and Beth of the Syc-A-Mo's playing for art opening at Sabel V.

A snapshot of the same event someone gave me, showing the full band on the front gallery. Some professional photographers snapped some pix of us, so I hope to have a better image sometime.

I do have a small stack of photos of other recent parties and musical events; I might scan more when I have more time. For now, here's a sample.

I might as well mention this here as well in case anyone in the New Orleans area is interested; it looks like I'll be making another appearance in the local Mass Media.

Earlier today the Syc-A-Mos played for an event for District Attourney candidate Gary Wainright (http://www.garyforda.com/works.html). I've been told we'll be on the tv tomorrow (Thurs 19th) on WDSU ch 6 on the 6pm news (and possibly the 10pm as well).

Those are all quite wonderful and joyous photographs. I love your slide trombone. But, what's up with the lady in the vinyl shorts that almost aren't there?

"Midsummer Mardi Gras" is for folks who can't go through a whole 11 months without Carnival. Unusual outfits are encouraged at such events. They can get quite a bit more risque than that photo.
