Dinosaurs AND pre-Columbian MesoAmerica combined in one film?

Who said they could never top the concept of "Snakes On A Plane"?

Hmm, eccentric british aristocrat decides to 'acquire' an ancient aztec ruby/diamond/gold whatsit that belonged to a 'lizard god'. As part of the plan they will parachute in from jet fighters. They get to the gold thing, avoiding intricate traps that still work 800 years after last being serviced, only to discover that the thing is cursed. Raptors jump out of the walls and the party of accomplished thieves run away, but cleverly use the pyramids (yes, I know that was more a maya thing, i'm doing hollywood here) traps to kill or maim the raptors as they flee. On the outside, they are chased by more dinosaurs to their escape submarine. While going down the amazon, they are attacked by a pleisiosaur that is also eating pirhanas. They could also use some satellite lasers to kill the big dinosaurs. We probably also need some hawt chyx.

Throw in a luchador, and you have the makings of a classic!
