Neck of Frog Update

Had the lump on the back of my neck removed today. It was just an infected cyst (though a pretty large one, the Doc said). Yay!
Am bandaged up & taking anti-biotics. Should be fine to be playing trombone by 12th night. Yay!

Glad you're ok!

I go to the doctor tomorrow to see about this 'goose egg' on the back of my shoulder... Send me some froggy vibrations!

You play trombone?

"I go to the doctor tomorrow to see about this 'goose egg' on the back of my shoulder."

I hope it's at least as easily taken care of as mine if not easier.

"You play trombone?"

Yes, not for a living.
Carnival time here in New Orleans starts on on 6 Jan, with loads of events; all the professional musicians have full scheduals and we of lesser ability can enjoy a few spot jobs for parades and parties. For whatever reason I was concerned that getting the lump cut might keep me from being able to play early carnival events.

Good froggy vibrations to you.

So it seems I'm suffering from the same cyst stuff as you. I'm taking anti-biotics and will be going in 2 weeks to have mine removed.

Very cool about the trombone playing! You should come up to St. Louie to play some tunes sometime. Broadway Oyster Bar or BB's Jazz, Blues, & Soups would be cool venues!
